My Drawings

Here are a few of my drawings that I have done this year.  There have been many more over the years but I have only been getting back into my drawing and wanted to share them with you.

The first picture is my favourite at the moment, I struggle to draw people and this was my first attempt and I feel extremely happy, I may not be Picasso but I am getting back into this.

A lot of these drawings are from books I have read or children's programmes as a lot of friends and my boyfriends family have children so these are for them.

The skull was for a friends tattoo and my boyfriend and I love Despicable me so I thought I would just make a little collage of the characters.
As you can see below a lot of my drawings are in pencil as I feel I get a better effect with shading and it looks raw where as with colour I find my drawings do not look as good.

Melt My Art

New name of my sisters art page and mine for our new canvas art which involved melting crayons on a canvas.

This was only a quick mock up as I won't be drawing we will be creating unique and home made pieces of art.

Christmas is coming.....

I am so excited for Christmas are all of you?

This is my favourite time of year and I am so excited to put up my Christmas tree and decorations if you want to see the photos of my living room after it is decorated then comment below and tweet me.

I can't wait to play my Michael Bublé CD 

And my favourite advert of all time is the Coca Cola lorry :p if you haven't seen it you have to it's the best, and is definitely what starts Christmas.

I also have my Yankee Christmas candles ready.  They smell gorgeous.

Simple face products.

You have probably seen me do a post in October on my favorite's for the month which included the Simple face wipes.

I have always used simple face wipes as I find they are so kind to my skin and do an amazing job removing all my makeup.  I do not just use the wipes to remove makeup I also use them to just cleanse my face in the morning and evening to feel refreshed.  I probably get through 2 packs a month and get them at a fantastic deal from Boots which usually have a 3 for 2 deal and I can get them so cheap.

A new product I have started using from them is their moisturizer which you apply to a soft cotton wool pad and gentle rub across the face in circles and work your way out and up. I have been using it for the past couple days now in the morning and evening, it feels amazing and my skin has never felt so soft.

I am looking to maybe try a few other products from the Simple line but I am not sure what else to try my next item may be the toner.

These products are so affordable and the best out there as far as I am concerned and would definitely recommend these to everyone.

Completed essay!!! YAY

Just a funny start to my blog hehe! I love kitty cats... and this one is so FLUFFY.

Well I have finished my essay and just need to hand it in, thank goodness, I have to say it was the hardest essay on health promotion EVER! But I actually feel I have done well from what everyone has said.

However now I have completed it I can now dedicate some more time to my blog and MAYBE some YouTube videos depending on how you all feel about it???

I would love to know all your suggestions on what you would like me to review, discuss or just generally do a video about..... I may do a Yankee Candle YouTube video.

House of Night series.

This series has been going on for a number of years.... I have been reading these books since I was about 15 which was 4 years ago and I am still reading them now as I have still not found out what happens in the end. 

The book is mainly about teenagers who are marked on the forehead and then have to leave their homes and live at the school of The house of night.  

The book follows many characters who are adjusting to school at night, and learning the ways of vampyres and the history... Below is a list of the books I would definitely recommend them, they keep me hooked and are great for those of you who like fantasy and romance.

It’s within the school’s walls that the heart of the action takes place as Zoey meets new friends, finds love, comes to terms with how her life will be different now and begins to realize her awesome new powers.

House of Night is a thrillingly engaging book series that follows 16-year-old Zoey Redbird, who gets “Marked” by a vampyre tracker and begins to undergo the “Change” into an actual vampyre. She has to leave her family in Tulsa and move into the House of Night, a boarding school for other fledglings like her.

Here’s the deal though: Yes, Zoey’s a vampyre now. But she’s still a teenager – with all the humor, angst and confusing feelings any other teenager has.

I am currently reading Hidden, as you can see there are LOADS of books in this series, Revealed was only released his month and I have not purchased this yet, however there is a new book being wrote at the moment and here it is:

Plymouth Bonfire/firework Night 2013

Hey everybody thought I would share with you where I went last night....

As you all know yesterday was the 5th of November and was bonfire night.

I live in Plymouth and went to the Hoe where they held their bonfire and firework night.  The night started with the bonfire being set alight and then followed by the firework display which I recorded for you all to watch... the video is above.  The songs included were, Doctor who, Star wars, Madness and les mis.

We won little teddies at the far :) I won the little bear and my Boyfriend won the whale :) so cute.

Name ideas for Canvas art work HELP.

Hello lovely people now for those of you interested in canvases and art work I need your help.

Makeup October Favourites.

Hello all my beauties.  I know this is late but like I explained in my last post there is reasons for this.

Today I thought I would show you my favourite Makeup products last month, there are only a few as I haven't been wearing many but they have worked well for me.

Smashbox High Definition concealer which I have in colour Fair.  I only have to apply a small amount and it works amazingly.

 

Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder has been a life saver for me it is amazing! I use it throughout the day to keep my skin from being oily, its really clear and really makes my skin look good also and actually minimises pores I found.

Barry M Lip gloss, comes in different shades this colour is gorgeous it gives a subtle shade of pink on your lips as well as leaving your lips looking glossy and moist.

Maybelline's Cat eyes mascara came out a while ago and has lasted ages for me, it's curved wand gives my lashes the best effect, no clumps or sticking together this is my go to must have.

This MUA eye shadow palette is my favourite.... a mixture of matte and glittery eye shadows.  The pinks are a gorgeous base and the gold and brown glitter eye shadows are perfect for the crease and lid.

Hope you all liked my favourites, they are all mainly from Boots/ drug store the only high end was the Smashbox concealer.

Nursing student... Sorry for no posts.

Hey everybody hope you're all doing well and enjoyed Halloween and looking forward to Bonfire night.

First I would like to say sorry for not posting anything in the last couple days but I have been on my placement for training in nursing.

Anything you want to see me write about please comment below and I will aim to get that up as soon as possible.

I have recently started my 3rd placement in my nursing and just done 2 night shifts which is very tiring and I will admit I am falling asleep writing this now......

I am also in the middle of writing an essay, so both are keeping me very busy.
